Our Story

Real jobsite experience, built into every project.

Ascend was founded on real, hands-on construction experience — not just a general contractor license. Years of working directly on jobsites, managing crews, and delivering finish-level work most contractors never touch is still the standard every Ascend project is held to.

That hands-on field experience meant learning the business side too: estimating jobs accurately, negotiating fair contracts, and managing schedules so trades don't collide on-site. That project management and estimation experience became the foundation for expanding into full-scope general contracting — custom home builds, new construction, and whole-home renovations.

Ascend Development & Construction LLC is a CBC (Certified Building Contractor) licensed and insured operation. We're building the company the same way we build houses: methodically, transparently, and with zero patience for cut corners.

Licensing & Credentials

Why licensing matters to us as much as it matters to you.

CBC License

Certified Building Contractor

Every project is backed by full CBC licensure and insurance coverage — giving you the accountability, code compliance, and peace of mind that comes with hiring a properly licensed general contractor.

Estimation

Accurate, Line-Item Bidding

Every proposal is built from real material and labor costs, not rough guesses, so your budget holds firm from groundbreaking to final walkthrough — with no surprise change orders along the way.

Contract Negotiation

Clear Terms, No Surprises

Scopes of work, payment schedules, and change-order terms are documented in plain language before a shovel touches the ground, so you always know exactly what to expect.

Hands-On Experience

Capabilities earned on the jobsite, not just in the office.

Field Work

Hands-On Construction Experience

Direct, in-field experience across framing, interior renovations, and ground-up construction — the kind of firsthand knowledge that only comes from working on the jobsite, not just managing it from a distance.

PM

Project Management

Coordinating subcontractors, sequencing trades, and keeping every project on schedule, so timelines hold and nothing falls through the cracks.

Estimating

Estimation & Bidding

Detailed, line-item takeoffs and realistic budgeting that protect your investment and keep the project on track from day one.

Contracts

Contract Negotiation

Clear, well-negotiated agreements that protect both sides and set the right expectations before work begins.

Our Process

How an Ascend project moves from idea to move-in.

01

Consultation

We start with a full walkthrough or plan review to understand your goals, site conditions, and budget — then align on scope before a single number is put on paper.

02

Estimate & Contract

You receive a detailed, line-item estimate and a clear, plainly written contract — no vague allowances, no hidden terms, no surprises later.

03

Build

Construction proceeds on a sequenced schedule with regular progress updates, so you always know exactly what's happening and when.

04

Walkthrough

Before handoff, we complete a final, detailed walkthrough — every finish, fixture, and detail inspected and approved before the job is called complete.
